One of my dear friends and one of my favorite commenters, Papa T, and his family, are smack dab in the middle of the worst flooding since 1937 in Middle Tennessee. I hear they had about 13-15 inches already. They got slammed overnight and it’s not expected to abate for a while. 6 people died in the flooding.

I have no idea how my friend and his family are faring, but I’m hoping he updates me when he can. He and his family are in the worst of it.

I saw your pictures. Wow!!!! We had a ‘minor’ flood two years ago, but it was a drop in the bucket compared to yours…
