What happens when you conquer fear

I’d been keeping my eyes open for a quotation to summarize something I’ve known about for a long time but could not articulate.

Joanna from j.lucy muses speaks wonderfully in her blog post entitled Open Letter to the Afraid. I’m going to let you read but wanted to share the part that, quite literally, JUMPED out at me.

This quote is superb and appropo to my entire life since I took the stand against the madness I endured as a young adult to go forward on my own two feet so many years ago.

…the moment one definitely commits oneself, then Providence [Serendipity] moves too. All sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred. A whole stream of events issues from the decision raising in one’s favour all manner of unforeseen incidents and meetings and material assistance which no man could have dreamt would come his way.

It’s a goodie, ain’t it! When I read it I said Yes! I’ve experienced that very thing! You’d love the book I got it from: Christina Baldwin, Life’s Companion.

I’ll have to check that out. Thanks for the inspiration! And I wanted you to know I was able to inspire someone else because of that!

Good luck with all your endeavors. You go girl!
